World Lymphedema Day
Dr. Granzow supports World Lymphedema Day, organized by the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN) to fight for long overdue recognition of lymphedema (LE) and lymphatic diseases. World Lymphedema Day is a global effort engaging governments and researchers around the world to dedicate themselves to finding advanced treatments and cures.

Dr. Granzow, his wife Amy, Kimm Ehlen, Cheryl Erpelding, and Julie Soderberg (not in photos) celebrated the 4th annual LE&RN Walk on Saturday night with Arun Rekha (LE&RN Patient Advocate Awardee) and her husband, Dr. Shashi Gogia, Bill Repicci (LE&RN President & CEO), Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Holland Taylor, Josh Pence.

Walk With Sally’s 11th Annual White Light White Night
The proceeds for this go to help providing mentoring support programs and services to children who have been impacted by cancer!

Run/Walk to Fight Lymphedema & Lymphatic Diseases
On Sunday, June 18, 2017, Dr. Granzow and his team participated in the 2017 CA Run/Walk to Fight Lymphedema & Lymphatic Diseases which took place in Santa Monica, California.
Actress Kathy Bates, a longtime lymphedema advocate, attended both the Walk and the reception the previous evening. Dr. Granzow’s team raised $2750 for the event!

“Cherish the Child” Silent Auction
Dr. Granzow participated in the American Martyrs Preschool’s “Cherish the Child” silent auction. The profits went to the American Martyrs Preschool Endowment Fund to support the children of AMP and enable them to experience special preschool activities such as snow week, traveling reptiles, farm animal visits, and more to benefit their education!

Taste of the South Bay
Dr. Granzow and his staff donated to the LA Kings charity fundraiser “Taste of the South Bay” and attended the event on Saint Patrick’s Day. Proceeds from the event benefited the Redondo Beach Police Foundation with funds earmarked to purchase classroom emergency safety kits for all Redondo Beach Schools.

White Night White Light Annual Charity Event
Hosted by Walk With Sally, this event supports children whose parents, guardians or siblings that have cancer or succumbed to cancer. Dr. Granzow and his wife Amy had some fun with it by dressing up as a milkman and a 50’s housewife!

Dr. Granzow is a proud sponsor of #LymphWalk, working together with LE&RN spokesperson Kathy Bates to dispel the myths surrounding lymphedema that allow society to turn a blind eye to this disease. In his own work, Dr. Granzow is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and a leading specialist in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of lymphedema.

Pier-to-Pier Walk-A-Thon/Paddle Charity Event
The Richstone Family Center is dedicated to preventing and treating child abuse in our local South Bay communities. When Shayla went to visit the Center in Hawthorne, she was deeply moved by the people that work there. It was great to see the Center providing parenting classes, anger management, domestic violence support and groups for young people. All of it was made possible by our community’s support for over 30 years!
Shayla, Amy, and Dr. Granzow attend their annual gala honoring families affected by child abuse and recognizing families who have donated to this great cause. Dr. Granzow donates his services to the silent auction.
